Terms of service

Last updated: 29 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Reactable AI Limited (“Reactable”, “we”) for using the Reactable app, web app and website. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Reactable. You can save a copy of these terms when you sign up, and we keep a record of the version you accepted.

1. Who can use Reactable

You must be 18 or over, and you must be using Reactable wholly or mainly for a business or profession, your own or one you're authorised to act for, including as a sole trader or creator. Reactable is not for personal use. If you create an account for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and the contract is with that business.

If, despite this, the law treats you as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law doesn't allow us to exclude, and the clauses on liability, the indemnity and the choice of courts apply only as far as the law allows.

2. What Reactable does

Reactable creates Instagram posts for your business from the photos you add and what you tell us about them, schedules them, and publishes the ones you approve to the Instagram account you connect. We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We don't promise any particular result: followers, engagement, bookings or sales depend on your business, your content and Instagram.

Approval applies to the image and caption shown to you; a material change needs fresh approval. If you haven't reviewed your suggested posts for three days, posting pauses, including posts you'd already approved, until you review them; reminders stop after a month of inactivity.

We'll keep improving Reactable, which means features may change or be withdrawn. If a change materially reduces what you've paid for, you can end your subscription before it takes effect and we'll refund the unused period through Paddle.

3. Your account

Keep your login details to yourself, give us accurate details and keep them up to date, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for use you authorise and for taking reasonable care of your login; you're not responsible for unauthorised use caused by our failure to meet our obligations. The email address on your account is where we send notices, including the warning before an inactive account is deleted, so keep it working.

4. Subscription, credits and payment

You buy your subscription from Paddle, which sells Reactable to you as reseller and seller of record, takes payment, applies VAT and issues receipts. Paddle's terms apply to the purchase itself, including cancelling renewal and any refund; our terms apply to using Reactable. If the two conflict about payment or refunds, Paddle's terms win on those points, and nothing here takes away a right you have against Paddle.

The price is the price shown at Paddle's checkout, including any VAT Paddle charges for your country and VAT status. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel first; Paddle sends the notices its terms require before a charge or renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel renewal through the links in Paddle's emails, Paddle's portal, or Settings on our website; your subscription then runs to the end of the period you've paid for. If a renewal payment fails and isn't fixed, your subscription ends as described in clause 5. One free trial per business.

We may change our prices from your next renewal, on at least 30 days' email notice; the notice will say you can cancel before the new price applies.

Credits. Some features use credits; today that's Generate, where one post spends one credit when its first draft appears, and refining that draft is included up to a limit. Your weekly posts never use credits. Your account starts with a set number of credits, and your plan adds a monthly allowance each billing period. The allowance is used first and resets each period; unused allowance doesn't carry over. Your starting credits, and any credits you buy, carry over and don't expire while your account exists, including during the 30 or 120 days after a subscription ends, and are lost when your account is deleted. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred, cashed out or refunded, except as Paddle's terms provide for credits you've bought. We don't currently sell additional credits; when we do, they'll be sold through Paddle as one-off purchases on our website. We may change how credits work on at least 30 days' email notice.

5. When your subscription ends

When your subscription ends, nothing more is published, including posts you'd already approved, and we stop sending you reminders. You can still sign in to view your posts, download your Library, delete photos, disconnect Instagram or delete your account. Your credits are kept too. We keep the Instagram access key so you can pick up where you left off, but we stop renewing it, so it expires on its own within 60 days. We keep your account for 30 days (if you never paid) or 120 days (if you did), then delete it as described in our privacy policy, with an email seven days before.

6. Your content

What you add. You own your photos, your notes and anything else you add (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process, edit and publish your content, and to make and keep copies of it, only as needed to provide the service while your account exists. We don't use your content to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. We treat your unpublished photos, notes and drafts as confidential and share them only with the service providers described in our privacy policy, or by publishing them when you approve a post.

What we create. As between you and us, the captions and images we create for your account are yours to use, during and after your subscription, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. That doesn't give you rights in anyone else's face, name or photograph, and because they're made by AI, copyright may not protect them and we may create similar output for other customers.

People in your photos. You are responsible for having a lawful basis under data protection law for each person in a photo you add, normally their clear, recorded permission, covering what Reactable does with it: storing it, describing and tidying it with AI (we never change a person's appearance), and publishing it on Instagram if you approve the post. You must tell people that you use Reactable for this. Before you add your first photo you agree to a declaration about this, and for each photo you tell us who is in it; we keep your answers as a record, but they don't replace your own evidence that the person agreed. Don't pressure staff to agree. If someone withdraws permission, delete the photo from your Library and remove any post from Instagram; we can't remove Instagram posts.

Under-18s. Don't add a photo of anyone under 18 unless a parent or guardian has agreed and, where the young person is old enough to understand, they have too. We ask you to confirm this; we don't verify it, and the responsibility is yours.

Health and private details. Reactable is not built for medical or clinical content. Don't add photos or notes that show or describe someone's medical condition, injury or medical treatment, and don't put a client's surname or private details in your notes unless they've agreed to be named in a post.

Rights in your photos. You must own the photos you add or have the right to use them. A photo taken by someone else, including a client's own photo, may need that person's permission.

Removal. We may remove a photo or post if we reasonably believe you don't have the right to use it, or if a person in it asks us to and you haven't dealt with it. We'll tell you when we do, unless the law or a risk of harm means we shouldn't.

7. AI-generated content

Captions and images are drafts produced by AI from your content and your instructions. They can be wrong, including about prices, results and availability. Nothing is published until you approve it. Approving a post is your decision to publish it, and you must not approve a post that misrepresents your work.

Images. Our edits tidy a photo: background, lighting, framing. We never change a person's face, body or appearance, and we don't create realistic images of people. In the product we show you which images have been edited or created by AI.

Labels. We're responsible for the obligations that apply to Reactable as an AI system, including embedding the machine-readable marks the EU AI Act requires on AI-generated or edited images; don't remove them. You're responsible, as the publisher, for any visible disclosure the law or Instagram's rules require on what you publish; Instagram may add its own AI label. A label doesn't make a misleading post acceptable.

Your marketing. You're the advertiser for everything you publish. Don't approve an image or caption that exaggerates a result or misrepresents work you did; Irish advertising rules treat that as misleading, and the complaint is yours. Don't publish claims about prescription-only medicines, or health claims you can't support.

8. Your Instagram account

When you connect Instagram you authorise us to publish to that account on your behalf and to hold the access key Instagram gives us. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, which deletes the key. Instagram's own terms apply to your account and your posts. We can't control what Instagram does (refusing a post, restricting your account, changing what its systems allow, or being unavailable) and we're not responsible for it, though we remain responsible for running our own integration with reasonable care.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use Reactable to publish anything unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing or infringing, anything that breaks Instagram's rules, or any image that sexualises a minor. Don't add content you have no right to use. Don't copy, resell or interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, or use it to build a competing one. Don't let anyone under 18 operate your account. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you unless the law or a risk of harm means we shouldn't. Anyone can report a photo or post to privacy@reactable.ai.

10. Our rights

Reactable, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app and the service for your business while you're a customer. Suggestions you send us can be used to improve Reactable without payment or credit.

11. Availability

We aim to keep Reactable running, but we don't guarantee it will be available at all times or free of faults. We may take it down for maintenance and will try to give notice. Scheduled posts may be delayed or missed when Reactable or Instagram is unavailable. Neither of us is liable for failing to do something (other than paying) because of events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or hosting outages, changes to Instagram's platform, or power failures; this doesn't excuse a data breach.

12. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can end the agreement at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend your account, with notice where we can, if it appears compromised, if a post is the subject of a legal complaint, if Instagram flags the account, or while a chargeback is investigated; and we may end it if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if Instagram withdraws our access. If we end it for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused period through Paddle.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit, or for your rights under data protection law.

Otherwise, we're not liable for loss of profit, business, bookings or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss. We're liable for loss of your data only if we failed to take reasonable care, and only up to the cap below. Our total liability to you for everything arising from this agreement in any 12-month period is limited to the amount paid for your Reactable subscription and credits in that period, through Paddle, or €100 if that is more.

Apart from what these terms say, we make no promises about the service, and terms the law would otherwise imply are excluded as far as the law allows, except that we will provide the service with reasonable skill and care.

Your indemnity. You'll cover our reasonable losses and legal costs from a claim by a third party, including a person in your photos, that arises from your content, from your not having the rights or permissions these terms require, or from your breach of these terms. This doesn't apply to the extent the claim is caused by our breach, our negligence, or our publishing a post you didn't approve. You'll tell us promptly of any claim, and we won't settle one in your name without your agreement.

14. Data protection

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy; accepting these terms doesn't waive any right under it. For the photos, notes and details of your clients, staff and other people, you are the data controller and we act as your processor under the schedule below. If the schedule and the privacy policy differ about that data, the schedule wins; for your own account data, the privacy policy wins.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect. If you don't accept it, delete your account before that date; using Reactable after it means you accept the change. Changes to the schedule follow its own notice rules.

16. General

These terms, the privacy policy and the schedule are the whole agreement between us, except that nothing limits liability for fraud. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. Clauses 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, this clause and the schedule's deletion terms continue after the agreement ends. Notices go by email, to the address on your account or to support@reactable.ai, and count as received the next working day. You can't transfer your account; we may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over Reactable, with notice to you. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. The English version prevails over any translation. Irish law governs this agreement and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@reactable.ai. About your data: privacy@reactable.ai.

Reactable is a trading name of Reactable AI Limited, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland under company number 742770. Registered office: 23 Redleaf House, Townparks, Longford, Co. Longford, N39 KV60, Ireland. VAT number: IE4329511WH.

Schedule: data processing terms

This schedule applies where we process personal data about your clients, staff and other people on your behalf. You are the controller; we are the processor.

  1. What we process, and why. Client data means the photos you add; your notes and voice-note transcripts about them; your permission answers; and the captions and edited or generated images we create from them. It concerns your clients, your staff and anyone else identifiable in a photo, including people under 18. It should not include health information; clause 6 of the terms asks you not to add any. We process it to describe, caption, schedule and publish your posts, as described in the terms and the privacy policy, for as long as you keep it in Reactable and until your account is deleted.
  2. Your responsibilities. You decide why the data is processed, you have the lawful basis for each person, you tell them what you do with their photo, and you give us lawful instructions through the product. You can update your instructions at any time by editing or deleting content.
  3. Our instructions. We process client data only on your documented instructions, which are these terms, the privacy policy and what you do in the product, including on international transfers: we store client data in the EU and send it only to the sub-processor below, whose AI processing may take place outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We'll process it otherwise only if EU or Irish law requires us to, and then we'll tell you first unless the law forbids it. We'll tell you if we think an instruction breaks data protection law.
  4. Confidentiality. Only people who need access to support you have it, and they're bound by confidentiality.
  5. Security. We keep measures appropriate to the risk: encryption in transit and at rest, EU-only storage, private storage with time-limited links, access controls and audit logging, daily backups, and regular review of these measures. The privacy policy's security section summarises them; we'll give you more detail on request.
  6. Sub-processor. You authorise us to use Google Cloud to host the service, in the EU, and to run the AI processing, which may take place outside the EU, as our sub-processor for client data. Meta is not our sub-processor: publishing sends your approved post to Instagram, which Meta then processes under its own terms as a separate controller. Paddle, our email provider and the profile lookup service don't receive client data. We'll email you at least 30 days before adding or replacing a sub-processor, won't send client data to the new one during that time, and if you object on reasonable data protection grounds you may end the agreement before the change and we'll refund the unused period through Paddle. Our contract with each sub-processor imposes the same data protection obligations we owe you, and we remain responsible to you for them.
  7. Assistance. Taking into account what we process, we'll help you respond to requests from the people in your photos exercising their rights, help you meet your own security and breach duties, and help with a data protection impact assessment or consultation with the regulator where the processing calls for one. If we become aware of a breach affecting client data we'll tell you without undue delay, and where we can within 48 hours, with what happened, what data is affected and what we've done about it, so you can meet your own 72-hour deadline.
  8. Return and deletion. You can take your photos back at any time with the Library download. When you delete a photo, or your account, we delete the client data within the periods in the privacy policy (straight away from live systems, within 14 days from backups, within 30 days from fault-finding records), except the permission record described in the privacy policy, which we keep as our own record, and anything EU or Irish law requires us to keep.
  9. Information and audits. On request we'll give you the information you reasonably need to show that this processing complies with data protection law. If that isn't enough, or there's been a breach affecting your client data, we'll allow and contribute to an audit by you or an auditor you appoint (not a competitor of ours), on at least 30 days' notice, during business hours, no more than once a year unless there's been a breach, under a confidentiality agreement and at your cost, and without access to other customers' data.
  10. Liability. Clause 13 of the terms applies to this schedule. Each of us is responsible for our own compliance with data protection law.
